Quality mulch and bark, delivered in bulk. Our locally sourced mulch is an affordable way to control weeds, hold moisture, build fertility and get more out of your garden.
Quick answer
Seven bulk mulches, fine to chunky: Tea Tree and Forest Mulch at one end, Hardwood Chip and Hoop Bark at the other. Whichever you pick, a 75–100mm layer keeps weeds down, holds moisture and feeds the soil as it breaks down, and one cubic metre covers about 10–13 square metres.
| Product | Best for | Typical depth |
|---|---|---|
| Tea Tree Mulch | Fine texture, holds moisture | 75–100mm |
| Cypress Mulch | Slow to break down, tidy look | 75–100mm |
| Forest Mulch | Large areas, economical | 75–100mm |
| Forest Mulch Double Grind | Fine, knits together | 75–100mm |
| Tub Grind Mulch Coarse | Large areas and slopes | 75–100mm |
| Hardwood Chip | Paths, neat even surface | 75–100mm |

Every mulch we sell is quality inspected and certified, so you won’t be redoing the garden down the track.

Aim for 75–100mm. A thinner layer lets weeds through and dries out fast, while a much thicker one can stop water reaching the soil. Leave a hand-width gap around plant stems and tree trunks.
If you’d rather top up less often, go chunky: Hardwood Chip, Hoop Bark and Cypress Mulch all outlast fine mulches like Tea Tree or Forest Mulch Double Grind.
One cubic metre covers roughly 10 m² at 100mm or 13 m² at 75mm. For a 100mm layer, measure the bed in square metres and divide by 10.
